It is Christmas morning and the homemade cinnamon rolls are in the oven. There will be no cooking today…only massive amounts of eating. We are going to Sorrento to hang out with the fam today! In case you didn’t know, I come from a family of really good cooks. I’m not exactly sure about the menu, but I will post it tonight. I hope everyone has a wonderful day today!

The weather outside is frightful…..not fit for man, beast or fudge maker. I am planning on trying my hand at rolled out butter cookies….snowflake cutters ready to go….hope the electricity stays on today! details and pics to follow

eggnog update…..it came out wonderful..the only changes I made to the original recipe were to double the amount of milk and butterscotch schnapps.

Happy Festivus, the holiday for the rest of us! Today is the somewhat official date of the holiday made famous by Seinfeld in ’97, and I would like you to remember this holiday that calls for a pole instead of a tree, the airing of grievances and feats of strength. It’s a Festivus Miracle! In honor of Festivus, I am trying my hand at homemade Festivus eggnog.
